To solve this problem, DOING engineer designs a new cassava flour processing technology, which do not need cassava peeling step and directly crushing cassava into pulp by high efficiency rasper. The produced cassava flour is has finer particles and higher quality.

Section 1: Cassava cleaning and washing section

Fresh cassava is easy to go bad, so after cassava harvesting, it needs to be processed in 2~3 days. It is firstly transported into a hopper and then conveyed into the dry sieve, where its sand and impurities on the appearance will be cleaned. Then we need to convey the cassava tubers to the paddle washing machine. By adopting our newest cassava flour processing technology, the cassava paddle washing machine we manufactured has special design and can remove the peeling basically. That means we do not need special cassava peeling machine.

Section 2: Cassava flour processing section

Cassava flour processing section mainly include cassava cutting, cassava crushing, cassava pulp dewatering, cassava cake breaking and milling etc.

Cassava cutting machine will cut cassava into 3cm~5cm particles, so that cassava can be easily milled into pulp. Then our newest cassava flour processing technology uses high speed rasper to crush cassava into pulp. The the cassava pulp will be pumped to desanding machine remove the tiny sand and impurities according to the gravity principle.

According to our cassava flour processing technology, we match plate and frame filter press for cassava flour dewatering. After dewatering, the moisture of wet cassava flour cake is around 40%~ 45%.

After getting the wet cassava flour cake, it shall be conveyed into hammer mill for cake breaking and milling, which will make wet cassava flour easy to dry.

Section 3: Final cassava flour drying section

Our cassava flour processing technology adopts flash dryer for drying, which uses negative pressure system thus can save more energy. The heat source of flash dryer is steam or hot wind. Wet cassava flour is heated by hot wind and water is steamed. After drying, cassava flour and air are separated in cyclone separator. The cassava flour is collected from the bottom, while the wet air is discharged into atmosphere after leaving cyclone separator.

After drying cassava flour, the moisture is around 12%. After that the collected cassava flour is transported to vibration sieve machine, where the coarse particulate matter will be sieved out. The sieved cassava flour is then transported to hopper for storing, cooling and packaging according to clients' requirements.
